Sunglasses

I'm considering buying a pair of sunglasses. I've never worn them before so I'm really concerned with buying a pair that match my face. I've been shopping around and it seems like I'll have to pay $100-200 for a polarized pair?

What do you guys wear? How much did they cost? Where did you get them?

I'd like them mostly for driving and golf. I like the look of rectangular glasses but I don't know if they would look right on me.

Ray Ban RB3176 Flight Polarized.

My only complaint is that the polarized lenses distort colors when worn under my motorcycle helmet...that and the lenses are glass so they aren't really good for wearing on the bike anyway.

I have 2 pair that I got for $19.95 that have managed to stay not-lost-or-broken for nearly 6 months now. By that measure they are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. Knowing myself, I simply cannot spend any serious money on jewelry or personal adornment of any kind. I had a pair of Killer Loops for about a week that I liked once. I think they were about $80.

Used to have color changers on my prescription lenses, but those wear out after a while. (Acutally thats probably just as good a time as any to get new glasses.)
Now I just have two sets of prescription glasses. Changing them out isnt as big a hassle as I thought. They're Fossils with mostly rectangular shape.

I have a pair of Gucci sunglasses that fit my face PERFECTLY that I got for about 350 last year.

I know that sounds like a lot of money to spend (back when I had money....), but I've always said that there are a couple of things I'll buy one pair of to last me a lifetime-a peacoat, a pair of high heels (that are fabulous), and a pair of sunglasses.

Both all three last year, and I've managed to wear them every single day...definitely wore out their worth.

$10 gas station. I usually lose or break my sunglasses every 6 months. But I do miss the days of my polarized ray bans.

You know, I've said the same thing about a few things I've bought. Sunglasses was one of them. You know what? I lost them after a few years anyhow, and the $10 pair I replaced them with is just as good, for about 1/6 of the price.

Bolle - I've tried a lot of sunglasses and Bolle's fit me best.

I'm a fan of polarized. Go to a Sunglass Hut or other sunglass type store and try on a bunch and decide what is best for you and your comfort.

Ray Ban Polarized but am considering buying maui jims soon.

I used to buy cheap sunglasses, until I got the Ray Bans. Don't see any reason to get cheap glasses now...

If you do any decent amount of driving or work outside, quality polarized glasses are a MUST. Easily worth the cost over some crap from walmart.

My shoes are in their box, inside their own respective bags when I don't wear them. I take them out on special occasions, especially.

My sunglasses I keep in their case at all times, and I have it in my bag...which I make sure to absolutely never lose *knock on wood*

My peacoat I'm always wearing--it's San Francisco, so I get to wear it all year long lol

Tifosi that were $60. I used to buy cheap sunglasses but after winning these ones I am sold on the idea of at least half-decent sunglasses and I will not buy cheap sh*t again. The lens and their auto-dimming pwns the hell out of me.
