Sundays were made to sit around doing nothing. I sit around and think about how happy I am to not be working or even showing the slightest hint of productivity. I love Sundays.

Nope I work from home so I can't really get away from work :)
I do call Sundays my 'ME DAY'. That is where I do whatever I want , whenever I want. I don't wash dishes, take out the trash or do anything I don't feel like doing.

That reminds me, I should do some laundry.

A little bit. I have 27 hours of class per week, so I don't look forward to that. However, I do love what I'm doing so it's not that bad.

I don't mind. One problem is getting to bed Sunday night, after sleeping in way late the past 2-3 days. Though I am almost swamped at work and should have went in this weekend. So I'm not quite looking forward to all the stuff I need to do this week.

Well I woke up Sunday morning,
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes,
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
An' I shaved my face and combed my hair,
An' stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

I'd smoked my brain the night before,
On cigarettes and songs I'd been pickin'.
But I lit my first and watched a small kid,
Cussin' at a can that he was kicking.
Then I crossed the empty street,
'n caught the Sunday smell of someone fryin' chicken.
And it took me back to somethin',
That I'd lost somehow, somewhere along the way.

On the Sunday morning sidewalk,
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cos there's something in a Sunday,
Makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothin' short of dyin',
Half as lonesome as the sound,
On the sleepin' city sidewalks:
Sunday mornin' comin' down.

In the park I saw a daddy,
With a laughin' little girl who he was swingin'.
And I stopped beside a Sunday school,
And listened to the song they were singin'.
Then I headed back for home,
And somewhere far away a lonely bell was ringin'.
And it echoed through the canyons,
Like the disappearing dreams of yesterday.

On the Sunday morning sidewalk,
Wishing, Lord, that I was stoned.
'Cos there's something in a Sunday,
Makes a body feel alone.
And there's nothin' short of dyin',
Half as lonesome as the sound,
On the sleepin' city sidewalks:
Sunday mornin' comin' down.

I've been enjoying my job so much for the past couple of months that I am now unable to sleep on Sunday nights in anticipation of the work week. I'll get to where I'm about to fall asleep then something annoying/stressful about work creeps into my thoughts and I jolt awake. This process repeats endlessly until I finally give up going to sleep. Really fucking annoying.

It does for me, but then again I have anxiety issues so I tend to dread upcoming things more than most people.

I fairly enjoy my work and I enjoy my shift (12:30pm to 9:00pm) so every day is like a Friday night to me. It rocks. The dramma that happens at work is usually in the morning and I miss that part, afternoon is not as bad then night is super quiet.

This particular weekend was ruined for me starting Friday but that was out of the ordinary. Dealing with hackers, DDoS, prank calls etc... no fun. Was a rather exciting weekend if I can say the least.

sundays are depressing for me because they remind me how much I hate my boss and need to quit (I was recently forced to work weekends indefinitely after two and a half years of M-F, 9/5)
