Great post LiQiCE!

I've been looking for some good deals on digital cameras, anyone have thoughts on the Kodak models mentioned above? Would it be better to get a Canon or wait for a good XMAS sale?

There was an earlier report by mysticman that the Envision 910 monitor was going to be in Staples ad with a $60 mfg. rebate and a $10 IR. I am building a computer for a friend and had this monitor in mind. Is it in the ad you are looking at? Thanks

I'm not seeing this on the Microcenter site. Maybe I'm blind and am missing something :(

The $9.99 keyboard at MicroCenter is by Labtech, not Logitech. Chumbo has the same board for $9.49. It has 19 little buttons across the top, in what looks to me to be a confusing layout. Then again, most of my more intelligently arrayed buttons on my Logitech Itouch go untouched as well. These 'navigator" keyboards seem a better idea than reality.

Wow, I went out for a little bit and now have quite a few questions ... Lets see if I can answer some of them.

There was no Toys 'R Us ad in my paper this week. Last week had the "Big Toy Catalog" and it lists the price of Episode II at $19.99 ($15.99 for VHS)

No sign of NBA 2K3 for the PC.

I didn't see any mention of a Western Digital 60GB HD except for an ad for it in Circuit City - $99.99 - $20 Mfr. MIR = $79.99 .. However, with the 80GB version at the same price after MIR I don't see this being a good deal (unless you hate MIRs)

Good job Trueno1986 on the Staples Coupons! I thought that there might be some good deals to be had with the Staples Coupons ... Sounds like you've got it figured out! :)

INoobieYou - You probably can pricematch, but BB might not pricematch Sam's Club since it is a specialized store where you have to have a membership. Plus, they've been getting pretty stingy with the pricematching + rebate thing lately (I had a lot of problems pricematching the WD 120GB non-SE and getting the rebate)

In terms of TV deals for Best Buy ... imho the Samsung is still one of the best deals, unless you want widescreen, then I'd go with the 30" Samsung. If you want a bigger screen, then its gotta be rear projection though I guess (unless Plasma is in your budget!)

Here's what they've got though:

Magnavox 36" Stereo TV - $569.99 - $70 MIR = $499.99
Toshiba 13" TV - $89.99
Sharp 25" - $199.99
JVC 27" - $269.99
Sony 20" Flat Screen - $299.99
Toshiba 27" - $329.99
Sharp 27" Flat Screen - $429.99
Toshiba 36" - $699.99
Panasonic 32" - $529.99
JVC 32" - $449.99
Toshiba 36" Flat Screen - $1199.99
Sony 32" FD Trinitron WEGA - $899.99
Sony 36" FD Trinitron WEGA Hi-Scan 1080i HDTV Monitor - $1999.99
Sony 53" Projection - $1399.99
Sony 43" Hi-Scan 1080i Digital Projection Monitor - $1599.99
Panasonic 53" HD 1080i Projection Widescreen 16:9 - $1799.99
Samsung 55" HDTV 1080i Projection Widescreen 16:9 - $2199.99
Toshiba 57" HDTV 1080i Projection Widescreen 16:9 - $2499.99
Samsung HDTV Receiver (Air and DirecTV) - $599.99
Philips 42" Plasma 1080i HDTV Monitor - $6499.99 (Free Basic Installation after MIR, $169.99 - $169.99 after MIR)
Philips 15" LCD - $1099.99
Sharp 10.4" LCD - $699.99
Samsung 17" LCD HDTV - $1499.99 - $200 MIR = $1299.99
Sharp 20" LCD - $1999.99 - $100 MIR = $1899.99
TIVO Unit (R14060) 60 Hour Unit - $349.99 - $50 MIR = $299.99
TIVO Unit (R240080) 80 Hour Unit - $399.99 - $50 MIR = $349.99

All TVs $299 and up have 0% financing for 18 months.

This will be tough to do. Most retailers have never matched warehouse clubs for me. They've always told me that they'll only match direct competitors of theirs - but, not the clubs. :(

I don't think the WD 80 GB drive is an "SE" model, though. From what I recall when I visited my local BB store this past week, most of their WD drives are the 2 MB versions. The only "SE" drive that they had was the 200 MB model @ $399 - Yikes!

Here's a link to the 80 GB WD drive at the Best Buy Web site - Western Digital 80 GB Drive @ BB
