When you apply sunblock lotion, do you still tan???

yes, not as tan as you would get without it. It saves you from sunburn too.

i bought a bottle of Hawiian tropic SPF 45 ultra block. the bottle says it good for 8 hours and waterprof. the only time the instructions said to reapply is after toweling.

My family and I spent only 3 hours in the sun. When we got there I put so much of it on my kids they look like they were covered in marshmellow. well the sh*t didnt work. we all got 2nd degree sunburns on our backs and shoulders.

I wrote a bitch letter to Hawaiian tropic and they sent us a mailer to mail back the bottle to be tested and gave us our choice for a case of any suntan/block we wanted from them.

Bullfrog is the only sunblock I know that truly delivers on all day protection, waterproof, sweatproof statements. And the new Superblock even contains Titanium Dioxide which is what makes sunblock good.

And you still tan.

Yea i just learned about bullfrog. My neighbor is the head grounds keeper for a golf course and he buys it for him and all of his workers to use. I need to find some.

I've been able to find it in a lot of places - Acme/Albertson's, CVS, sometimes Target. Check around, even look online. It's a little pricey ($8-$14 depending on what kind of store, usually "surf shops" charge the most), but it's well worth it.

Bullfrog is by far the most effective... I just wish it didn't feel so disgusting and smell like ass.

Really? It doesn't feel/smell worse than any other sunblock I've ever used. Unless you mean the watermelon-scented sport spray, which does smell pretty gross.

Australian Gold SPF 30 protected me for a week in Hawaii. Before then I was barely tanned at all and now I look like some sort of bronzed god. :laugh:
