Sunbeam Transformer?

Hey,

Anyone have this case or thoughts on it? From what I've read it's a decent case but a little loud. If i were to put the fans on my PSU (TurePower) will it correctly control the LED fans? I can pick this case up for extreamly cheap.

Sunbeam's Samurai case isn't a bad case, just a little old, so I wouldn't think the Transformer is much worse. Only thing is that there are just so many fans that it can get really loud. However, there are a lot of fan options (for both 80mm and 120mm fans), so just get like two quiet 120mm fans and maybe an 80mm fan and it won't be as loud.

But I absolutely hate how it looks. Are you one of those guys, you know, those guys that love flashy, gawdy looking cases?

Yeah, i'm not crazy on its looks, but air flow is good and the price is great. It'll sit under my desk anyways. I'll probably endup with somthing much more expensive because i know if i don't get what i want now I will end up getting it later.

Well the airflow on that thing is a bit overkill. You could get an Antec or a Lian Li with two 120mm fans and it would do just as good a job, be quieter, and of course, look better.

Not sure what your price range is, however if you already have a Truepower, the Antec 3000B case would be really nice for you. This case is quiet, and has plenty of cooling - 2x 120mm fan and cpu duct. Also has vent for your gpu. This case costs roughly 70$ on newegg and as low as 40$ elsewhere.
