Ok, I first got a Galaxy Rheobus (cheapy) from jab-tech, it ended up failing after 1 day of use. The pots quit working/adjusting voltage. So, i send it back for refund, and get a Sunbeam. I've been using it a couple weeks now and for some ODD reason there is one LED that is stuck "blue", wheather its in the off position, or just turned on (where it should be red). I'm not sure if its one of the chips on it or what, but the pot does still adjust voltage just fine according to the speed of the fans...its just the LED doesn't change. I was just wondering if anyone may have had similar probs w/ this rheobus.. I'm not sure if its even worth paying to ship it back .. or whatever it'd take.

I just ordered a sunbeam myself, so I can't speak from experience. I read somewhere that you can turn the LEDs off and change them a bit by pushing them in and pulling them out. It might be possible that it has a bad connection or is shorted by something else. If you do this of course be careful. Sorry if it isn't relevant.

i did play around w/ that a bit, and didn't seem to change really. i did however find a way to shut it off and change it red, so they aren't "burnt" out so to speak, as i believe if 1 color is gone, the whole thing is gone.. but shorting the 2 right leads (looking at it from the front) it will shut the led off, shorting the outer 2 leads = red. i got the volt meter out and tested it some but couldn't find anything consistant from 1 to another.. maybe i'm measuring it wrong, forgot too much from my 2 yrs of electronics. :p
