Sun terminal on PC monitor

I am trying to learn how to connect a PC monitor to a sun terminal. Apparently, sun has a proprietary connection for video. Any information on this would be great.
 
What kind of terminal? There are adapters, I have one that converts the Sun connection on my Ultra1 to standard VGA.
