I bought a sun microsystems 21" CRT monitor. My friend told me it had DVI... but I'm tellin you all it WON'T fit from all of the DVI card pictures I have seen. From left to right its got 1 big pin, the set of small pins and then two more big pins. I looked on the sun website and found:
Video input Connectors: HD-15, BNC
Cables included: HD15M/HD15m 1.8 meters and HD15/BNC 2 meters

What the heck kind of cable is that? Its NOT DVI, right?

Can someone tell me that they don't know? Or is it that this is a really stupid question and no one wants to bother?

Its got a regular monitor connection on it too. I'm using it with my geforce4. I just wanted to know what that other thing was.

That site has a dvi plug... My monitor doesn't have dvi at all... or those coax type cables.

Those coax type plugs are the BNC connectors. As long as you have a regular VGA, you're fine though.

I know I'm fine. I just want to know what the heck the other plug is... If I take a picture of it can someone host it for me so I can post it?
