I installed a 64bit version of Linux called Aurora for Sparc, and during the install it asked for the keyboard type. Mine is a type 6 keyboard and that wasnt even one of the selectable types. It showed type 4, type 5, and several variants of type 5 which appeared to be language variants. Since I have no idea what the other types are I went ahead just let it install with the default type 4 and also allowed dead keys to be enabled. Well wouldnt you know it every key I hit is something different than on my keyboard. Any idea which type will fit closest to type 6 so I wont have this problem, or is my problem that I allowed dead keys to be enabled?
And how can I change it without reinstalling the whole operating system?
Thanks!
John
