I can't stand these guys!!!!!!!! Just in the first queater they made so many mistakes. Summerall is worse, but Madden is still bad. They may have been great in their day but now their just too old. Fox is already bad enough, they had better get rid of these guys soon.

I remember Maddden was talking about the turducken, a concoction he made for Thanksgiving that is a duck stuffed in a chicken stuffed in a turkey.

Pat Summerall has been burnt by age and booze. Madden is getting lazy and cruising on his reputation.

Summerall is now retired. They will get Madden a new play-by-play guy. Maybe it will rejuvenate him.

Really, Summerall is a nut. He often calls out names of players who AREN'T EVEN IN THE GAME. I don't doubt about the booze, but I suspect more than that.

I can't stand listening to John Madden do football games anymore...I am a huge football fan, and I know what he has done for the game, but I believe he has no place in a broadcast booth anymore. I'd rather watch golf than listen to one of his games

While he is growing old and senile, I actually like Madden. He brings a sort of flair or uniqueness. And you can't doubt his passion. Madden and football is like a kid in a candy-store. He gets all excited, uses great phrases, and has cool anecdotes that make you glad he approaches the game as he does.

Huh... I absolutely LOVE listening to Madden announce games. But truthfully, I don't pay too much attention to the announcers when I watch games. The only times I even notice the announcer is when I really like them (Madden) or really hate them (Mussberger).
