Summer vacation suggestions

OK...i'm in San Francisco.
wanna go somewhere...preferably fly no more than 1-2hrs...no more than 3hrs.
Vacation for 3-4nights. Don't wanna drive too much so i'm looking to fly.

i was thinking of alaska but its friggin 5hrs flight and i think it might suck.
cruises cost too much...i've been going back to Hawaii for a few yrs now and
wanna do something different this time.. 🙂
even somewhere within CA is fine...

pls suggest!
 
I want suggestions too please. I dont care how long the flight is. I'd prefer in the USA, (hawaii and alaska count).
 
im gonna do absoutly NOTHING. only leave my house when absoutly neciary. just gonn asleep and relax. its gonna be so great
 
seriously tho'..hawaii is best bang for buck...
cool place to hang...young or old..
and its cheap to get there and relatively cheap to stay.
i'm just looking for something diff...and that 5hr flight is starting to get old for me.
 
Short flights from your area gives you...

Las Vegas, Reno, Los Angeles, Palm Springs (old people), TJ, LA, San Diego, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver.

heck...drive 3-4 hrs and go to Yosemite. Should be gorgeous this time of the year with the waterfalls really booming. But, I guess if you go in the summer it won't be as spectacular and will be more crowded...ok...fly to Reno and do some gambling across the border 🙂

ermm...don't anything 😀 definitely don't wanna drive 3-4hrs.
just wanna go chill somewhere instead of at home.
