That's a nice map.
Do you know where I can get the full map?
I'm interested in the southern regions.

well, that shouldn't be too bad... I'll take my chances then.Originally posted by: minendo
Since you will be heading east bound, it should not be as bad. Of course it also depends on any construction that may be going on on Route 80.
any idea where it is?Originally posted by: jw791
If you're going thru South Dakota, try to go to the "Tea Steak House".
It's hard to find, dirt cheap, and you can get filet mignons for next to nothing.
LOL!! Actually it's a good 135 miles north of Des Moines, 37 miles from the Minnesota state line.Originally posted by: FoBoT
when you are near Iowa, you might want to swing south a bit and see "The World's Largest Cheeto" , i haven't been able to find out its exact location, but i think it is near des moines

mmm steak...![]()
<edit>Nevermind, found it. Right south of Sioux Falls, where I'm planning to spend a night. Thanks!</edit>
Google search turns up pretty recent results, so I'm guessing it's still there.Originally posted by: jw791
Yeah that's right. I went there about 10 yrs ago - dunno if it is still the same. If I remember right, they serve your water in cheap plastic cups, HORRIBLE tablecloths, more like a roadside diner than a "Mortons".
But dang if that wasn't the best steak I've had in a long time.
