Summer GPU sell off for the DC crowd.*SOLD*

I will be shutting down for the summer soon and I want to sell a couple GPU's to the DC community so I don't have to deal with the crazy that is Fleabay.

I have a plain jane 2060 and a 3070. With how crazy the GPU market is, is MSRP a fair starting point?

Chris

I'll give you $605 for the 3070! PM me. Or just sell it to Mark as he was first 🙂

Mark was so fast at his first response! Maybe he is a BOT? 🙂

I just can't win at buying 1st world computer stuff in these crazy times. Does that make me 2nd world or 3rd? This trend is the same as my DC stats standing in WCG.... Going the wrong way.

As far as what you asked(is msrp a fair starting point) - I don't think anybody could or should begrudge you for charging more than MSRP as long as it wasn't $1400 for a 3070 or something, but MSRP is good too.

Well, I couldn't get that 3070 since cellarnoise outbid me by $5, so I entered the newegg shuffle. $1100 for a $800 card, what a ripoff. But a little better than the scammers/scalpers.

I know a guy who got a 3070 in the newegg shuffle a few months ago for $540.
I got a 3070 a few months ago in the shuffle, but it was $720. $600(or more) is MSRP, so I don't think it was a 3070, or he paid more than that for it. That shuffle ALWAYS gets far above MSRP.

It may have been $640. I will ask him.

I got mine on 2/22/2021, thats 2 1/2 months ago in the shuffle, and it was $718. I would say more like $740 is the real number. They have only gone up every time I see them.

I will get the correct numbers and model number of the 3070 that he got in the newegg shuffle. I am sticking by my $540 figure for now. Below is what they retailed for last year.

Nvidia's RTX 3070 will cost $499 and is available in October.

I bought a 3070 at the end of November for $560 from Best Buy online, and I almost hesitated to buy it at the time because it was "such an overpriced model" (RTX 3070 Ventus 3X OC). $540 could be possible, depending on what model it was, and pre-tariff vs post-tariff price increases, etc. It's pretty humorous to think of a $560 3070 seeming overpriced at the time, to be honest, considering how ridiculous things have gotten with GPU's since then.

Ok, this is what my friend got. Newegg shuffle $529.99 + tax. He got his order in on 12/14/2020
That almost 5 months ago, when they were first available. I didn;t even know they had the shuffle back then, so I can see how he got it for that price. And now that card is $700 with shipping, even in the shuffle.
