Summer Camp Staff

I spent this past summer as a camp councilor working at a Boy Scout camp

I won't be doing it again, but it was a good experience

My job was rather crappy, consisting of yelling at kids, telling leaders that they couldn't have 4 rolls of toilet paper to burn, listening to people ask for things, and having to tell them no, they can't have that.

It was fun though

I worked at a camp for 8 summers through high school and college. I was a dishwasher, so I had to deal with campers only when I wanted to. But it was a really good experience, and the most fun job I'll ever have.

I taught mountain biking, sport merit badge, personal fitness merit badge, and radio merit badge for several summers as a teenager. By far the best job that I've ever had. I also met my wife at camp the last summer that we worked there 😉
