How do I know the right length for the arms? When my arms are to the side, it'll cover my dress shirt. Isn't it supposed to be showing some?

What about my pant legs? I remember something about them needing 2 breaks in the pants. Forgot what that was about though.

Any reputable store that sells suits will have someone on hand to measure you.

Are you one of those weirdos who refuses to buy things if it's not online, including all your clothes?

Just go to any department store, say you're looking for a suit, and they'll measure EVERYTHING except your penis (that costs extra). Just write those measurements down and you're set unles you get stuck feet first in a thresher or suddenly gain 50lbs of water weight.

No, the shirt should show only when you bend your arm. With your arms at your sides, the sleeve should reach about 1/3 of the way between your wrist and the first joint on your thumb.

The back of the pant leg should just reach the top of your heel (with normal dress shoes). The front should touch the top of your shoes just enough to cause a single "break" in the front crease. IMHO, if it breaks twice you will look Asian.

:D

Honest, the style in Asia is that everything (sleeves, pants, ties) are longer than the US. European cut is still a little tighter than US but not shorter.

Cool. Thanks for the info. The arm length comes right at that first joint on my thumb right now.
