Suggestions please, I need 2 negative inventions invented with the last 20 years!

You could always go the "political bitch" route and take shots at video games and rap music for "destroying the intelligence of our youth" 😛

Nothing is negative. Its only the prevalent use of the negative aspects that makes the product negative. For example TV has considerably improved the communication means but look at teh negative effects also. You become fat, your eye sight gets screwed up and of course you run the risk of becoming an addict. Even things like drugs have positive uses (medicine primarily) but the abuse of it...well you get the idea.
 
Computer Forums- brought society to a new low in laziness. If you thought TV was bad, take a look at the guy who sits in front of his PC for 10 hours a day.

Are those negative? Sure they are negative to some, but not all.

Does this essay ask for what inventions that you see as negative? Or does it have to be negative to everyone?

I would have to say Crack Cocaine. People date it in the late 70's to mid 80's. Freebasing was around before that, but not crack.

That's a pretty damn big negative. Not saying it shouldn't exist, but it's hardly a happy end to an argument.

Actually I was wrong to a certain extent. It was a French Scientist that discovered it in the early 60's.

And Nuclear Weaponry probably led to more positive uses like nuclear reactors / more advanced and controlled nuclear.
