Suggestions on video card

I'm building a new system with a Asus CUSL2 mobo. I'll be running win2k. I need suggestions on what video card to get for an affordable price. I'm not so much of a gamer, but i do want my DVD to run nicely Thanks

DVD's run great on my AIW Radeon, its maybe out of the affordable range, but perhaps one of the other models from Radeon 64 DDR on down, excellent values! and excellent DVD playback...yes even in win2k.

I got Radeon 32MB SDR. I can't wait to put it all together!

If you wanted to run win2k, I don't think that the Radeon would have been the best choice unless you just watch DVD's. The Radeon performance is not the greatest (however, their win98/me performance is really great for the price, especially for teh Radeon DDR LE)

If you can, return the SDR. The LE is a much better card for about the same price.

heh...i checked my purchase and guess what? it's an ATI Radeon 32MB DDRAM 2x/4x AGP for $81. thanks for the help.

You'll like the Radeon!, I actually run win2k and I would rate the game performance as excellent, and I certainly do much more than watch DVD's.
