Suggestions on these two lcd monitors..

Don't know if you noticed, but none of these have DVI inputs.
But if your video card doesn't have the DVI output, then it is pointless.
Also, if you plan on gaming, 12ms should surely be something to consider.
You don't state a price range so I can't really recommend anything.

But if I had to choose one from the given options,
I would pick the L1710SK. (the first link)
Maybe I'm missing something,
but I don't know why anyone would choose the L1710SK over the L1715SK.
The L1710SK has a slightly better contrast ratio and maximum color span.
Not a HUGE difference, but if you could have $1.00 or $2.00, which would you take?
For what it's worth, the L1710SK ranked #1 and won the "BestBuy" Award from PC World Magazine.
You can read about it here:

In conclusion, specify a price range and I will try my best to further help you.

The 15sk has a "hard coating" to help prevent glare, and it comes with a 3-year swap-it-in warranty. Admittedly, the contrast is a shade lower, but you're not really likely to be able to see that.

Whoops, didnt notice they didnt have DVI inputs. I have a Radeon 9800 pro if you are wondering. Whoa, thanks for the link virtualgames. Looks tempting also... a price range... 200-350ish, black 17".
