LCD Screen Cleaner.... No idea though. Tell the kid that his punishment is now he doesn't get to watch movies any more. That'll teach him.

Buy the kid washable crayons next time?

You could try Goo Gone or WD-40, but make sure you get all of the residue off as quickly and as completely as possible.

Call the number on the back of the box and ask for their recommendations.

No joke, I'm certain you won't be the first one and I'm sure they'll have more experience than ATOT.

At least it's not summer. Cars, summer, and crayons are always a bad mix.

Yeah, that right there is the most sense anyone has made on these boards in a while. *grin*

Well crayons are wax, and wax burns... Fire? ;)

A razor blade may be able to get the majority off, but it may also scratch the screen.

Goo Gone, but make sure you dilute it a little bit and don't get any other brand of "Whatever Off" stuff as I've seen other brands eat through plastic, so imagine what it'd do to a LCD screen.

A firm toothbrush and glass cleaner always works for me. May take some time but the bristles will be able to get into all the groves of the screen. If your screen is completly flat try using a straight razor.

The kid was just trying to be like weatherpeople and sportscasters and highlight the action

I would try a hot damp rag first, before putting any chemicals on it

DO NOT DO THIS.

LCDs have a clear coat (not all), which vary from display to display. Call the manufacturer of the laptop, it won't be their first call. If you do this, you WILL scratch the clear coat.

Different cleaners may also damage the clear coat.
