Suggestions on new CPU cooling

Hi,

I am on the hunt for a good(quiet) CPU cooler for a Intel i5 2500K that will be OC a bit. This CPU is placed in a Fractal Design R3 with orginal fans(2). Regular memmory modules is used (no extreme heatsink).

I hade the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro on my Q6600 OC that i was vary pleased with but I supose that this will not work that good on a i5.

So I have been looking some alternatives :

Antec Kühler H20 620 : 42,40 EUR
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus : 33,81 EUR
Cooler Master Hyper 612 PWM : 42,40 EUR
Noctua NH-U12P SE2 : 54,27 EUR

Any suggestions?

That's extremely expensive for the Hyper212+. In the US here we can easily find it for $25, and value is the main reason why it's picked. At these prices I would probably go for the Kuhler, although I don't really know how it performs.

I'd probably take the Noctua. The Kuhler's quiet 'til you crank it up, but it gets noisy when it's running full tilt, and if you're OCing, you'll be doing that. What I don't know is whether it'll get quieter if you maybe replaced the fans? I'd be interested if anyone else here's gotten lower noise doing that.

I recommend that you go with one of the Corsair water-cooling kits. Ex: H40, H70, H80,H100. They're fairly inexpensive for a water-cooling kit and easy to install.
