Suggestions on how to do this

My grandpa wants me to make him a classical CD, and to have it say (aloud) the artist and name of the track right before each track is played. What is the best way for me to accomplish this?

Thanks

record the things you want to have said and then burn it.

Well obviously, but how should I merge the 2 mp3's together?

One mp3 will be the voice saying the song (which I haven't decided how to do yet), and the other will be the song.

dont need to merge them just record the song title and composer and then place that in order before the mp3 that u named... and have to cd set to not put a gap between those two tracks

No good for random play. Doesn't NERO have a built-in MP3 editor?

there's software that will join mp3s together. I think I saw something called mp3scissors...or mpegscissors....or something like that

the best computer voice program is speakonia. you can have the clock crew or pube muppit shout all kinds of mild obscenities at your grandfather with it.

Why does this idea pique my interest?

Make a piece of paper (OMFG) that says titles and track numbers...

lol...when someone else asks a favor of you, you really ought to do as they asked. Useless help is worse than no help at all.

actually, i know him IRL so it was more of a joke between us

How about you just open Windows Sound recorder or whatever the hell it's called, record yourself saying the song and artist, then you can convert the MP3s to .wav's and splice the two files together.

Or just download some other MP3 editing program. All in all, I don't think gramps is gonna be able to tell the difference between audio qualities, so there's really no need to waste time finding the right app to do it.
