Suggestions on a Wireless Card for my laptop

Hi, My school is suppose to have wireless hot zones and I would like to use this feature

I don't know much about wireless cards for laptops so I was wondering if i could get some sugesstions.

Maybe a card matching your Laptop manufacturer. Like Acer-card to Acer, and Asus-card to Asus.

But I think any pcmcia-card from LinkSys, 3COM, Intel will work just fine. There are standards in the industry that needs to be kept.
Just get the ones without external antenna. It's kinda annoying..

Find out if they are using 802.11g and/or WPA. cuz an 802.11b may not work in that kind of scenario. Then just buy a cheap PCCARD.
