Hi, I'm looking to build a system that will run for years w/o a restart. It will be a router/server box with a Gentoo OS. I am looking at the following mobo's and need a little guidance.
First off, I'd like the following features:
- Socket A support for AMD XP 2400+ or similiar chip
- Onboard LAN, 10/100 ok, Gigabit would be really nice
- Onboard Video
- SATA support
I am currently looking at the following motherboards,
- Asus A7V600 Via KT600
- Asus A7V8X-MX SE Via KM400
- DFI KM400-MLV Via KM400
Suggestions, comments, experiences would be appreciated. BTW, I've searched this forum and haven't found a collection of good answers to this specific question, so I've tried to do my homework before posting.
