suggestions needed for Dell laptop - ~$1.2k

Seems like the board's favorite is the T40 but unfortunately I could only do dell (company is offering a money voucher for dell). I'm torn between which laptop to get ... I've been browsing the boards and there has been mentioned of the 600m (another fav. next to the T40), D600 and other brands.

Budget would be about $1200, give a take a few. The reason why I like the 600m is because it has the centriono/wifi capability and the fact that it comes with the 64M radeon video card. The notebook would be mainly used for surfing, movies, webpage editing, and some gaming. Given this, is the 600m the best dell notebook to fit my needs? If not is there another one that I should look into? One or two different notebooks suggestion so I can have something to compare to, would be nice, unless the 600m is the obvious choice.

How many Dell laptops can there be for US$1200?

Latitude D600s are reasonably popular and start at about that price.

okay, I looked some more and I've decided on these 3 laptops [ I'm bumping my limit to $1400 =) ]

600M, D600, 5150 ... any comments on which one is better than the other if they're configured similarly ?

id just go w/ the 600m. wait for a hot deal to come around, should pick it up relatively cheap.

Yeah, wait for a good deal, I got a pretty well loaded 600m for around 1,250 after rebates and 20% off coupon.
