I have been steadily Overclocking this DLT3C (dont know full stepping) from 133x11.5 to 200x11.5 Unfortunately by the time I hit 200fsb, im already needing 1.75V and it can only boot windows. The second I try FFXI bench, or Super PI, i get either a forced exit, or a rounding error (respectively). I then lowered the multiplier to 11 and it was stable. I then increased the FSB to 205, and it was not stable anymore. I then lowered the multiplier to 10.5 and its stable. This is where I am now. This is slightly frustrating for me because it seems that for a slight FSB boost, I am losing more CPU raw power than its worth. Is 200x11 the best I can get out of this system? Should I venture into 1.80V? seems a little high to me. Also, my cpu temp increased 10C from 133x11@1.5V to 205x10.5@1.75V - is this normal?

In Utopia, I would like to see stable 11.5 x 217 1:1 with ram. Is this even remotely possible?

Thanks for the help, here are the system specs:

DLT3C TBred-B 1800+ @10.5x205
ABIT NF7-S ver2 default BIOS
Antec TrueBlue 480
Mushkin PC3500 Level 2 2x512MB
Coolermaster Aero7+ at ~7V with vial44 thermal goop

Current Temps according to Winbond Hardware Doctor ver2.70:
System: 28C
CPU: 44.5C

How high can you get the chip on a lower fsb like 166 ??

i've owned that motherboard, memory, cpu, and psu combo you got going there
i found my mushkin seems to max out at it's rated speed even with higher voltages and lower timings
the nforce2 prob won't let yur mushkin go over 225 and i would be suprised if you even get 217
don't be afraid to run the mem at a lower ratio either
and bump the vdimm to like 2.8
you can also try lower timings like 2-2-2-11 or 2-3-2-11 or anything like that
i found that 2-2-2-6 seems to be the fastest with mushkin/nforce2

good luck

I already have the vdimm to 2.8. I think maybe, perhaps, my CPU maxes at 2200mhz. I was never able to get my ram stable at default speeds. Ive been in contact with Mushkin, but no real results.

2.2ghz for an 1800+ is pretty good tho
my 1800+'s and 1700+'s seemed to max out around there too

Can you push more volts. to cpu.
Loosen ram timings, up agp volts chipset volts and go again.

you just hit a limit.
most i'd give cpu is 1.75, vdimm 2.8.

give the northbridge some juice see if that helps

Ok, seeing as my mobo can only supply an additional .1 V to the northbridge, I think i have hit the peak of the OC ability of this computer system. Thanks guys
