We were there the weekend of the Kentucky Derby and that place was swamped, so we avoided it. If we ever go back on a less busy weekend I'll check it out. I'm not a big gambler, but if they have a poker room I like to play Texas Hold 'em.

Siloam Springs has a nice casino and is a lot closer. They have a good buffet that's only like $6 including a drink on weekdays.

Nice state park over there, too.

Yeah, I've been there several times over the years. Their poker room is nicer than it used to be. When I first went there they still charged for bottled water in the poker room. Haven't been there for a couple of years though. I like to play poker, but I've got a family and don't generally have the time to blow 2 hours on the round trip plus several hours playing poker.

Wasn't really impressed with the buffet, but I've only tried it once and it's been probably 4+ years.

I know Oak Lawn in Hot Springs is a lot farther of course. I meant I'd check it out if I happened to be in Hot Springs for some other reason. We go to Little Rock fairly frequently for the children's hospital there, so we might stop back through Hot Springs on one of those trips.

I wasn't too impressed with Oaklawn. You can definitely tell their primary concern is horse racing.
