Some quick notes mainly about news posting if anyone's paying attention.
1. Kiran's method of using a big bolded topic line in the news post as well as on the subject line is a good idea, makes it a lot easier to scan news subjects for the day. You guys should make this a rule.
2. I've quickly forgotten if comments are listed in newest-to-oldest or oldest-to-newest order, meaning that perhaps (like Firingsquad does) numbering the comments would be a good idea? Being able to choose between ascending and descending mode would be great too, though I can't understand why anyone would want the newest replies up top. Then you have to scroll to the end and start reading backwards to make sense of the conversation.
3. The tabs up top (CPU, Motherboards, Chipsets, etc.) would feel a little more "selected" if there was a mouseover event that lit them up when the mouse was over them, like the left-hand menu currently does.
4. The obvious #1: It would be great if our usernames/passwords were automatically saved for news comments. I have a gut feeling that's in the works anyways, though.
5. The obvious #2: Fixed-size layouts! I don't really have a solution for this, I know what a bitch this is to set up. It doesn't bother me personally (being at 1024x768 natively) but better support of larger resolutions (screw anyone lower
) would be great.
Great job overall.
