Suggestions for new years eve near DC or NYC....

A buddy and I are looking for something cool to do on NYE, I checked on times square and it seems like it would be a pain in the arse considering that you cant have open containers and there are no public bathrooms. Any suggestions for the mid-atlantic area would be cool. There are alot of parties locally but we were looking to do something cool and big..... Booze is a must 😀:beer:.
