You be in for big surprise maybe in the reliability of some cars you think are good. My Accords trannie went out at about 60k miles, supposedly the front suspension of some Toyotas are badly designed and go bad at about 70k, and many have trannies fail on Accords with 6 cylinder engines around that milage, as some in this forum have posted. Given the choice of new cav or near new intrepid or tauras or about any car with long warranty in effect, I would have to take the newer one than any car with 70K with no warranty. But that's just my opinion cause I don't like paying repair bills.
