Suggestions for my site?

I run beyondthescore.com - which is a blog on the business of sports. Our traffic is still small (ranging from 500-1500 page views a day) but I want to start expanding. Right now, I just post some articles and do some commentary. Here are some ideas that I have:

Get a couple guys to write bi-weekly columns.

Introduce a fantasy football component in the fall, not for picking players, but that elimination type league where you pick which team you think will win each week but can only use the team once throughout the entire season. Get some gift certificates. for the winners.

Introduce a "Your the GM" or something section, where readers write in on moves they think were stupid and what they would have done. Maybe, the best entries get put into a lottery for a GC.

Do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks a ton.

The only assurred way to get more traffic to a site is to expand in every way shape and form. Don't go so fast that everything you expand to is baren, but the more you have to offer people, the more traffic your site will get, and the more RETURN traffic your site will keep. Traffic means didilly if they don't come back.

you could post pics of pliablemooses daughter getting a tatoo next to a chick with her thingys falling our of her shirt, people will hit your site for that

Move the navigation to the right...it disturbs me being on the left.

Add something somewhere, perhaps headers as simple graphics. Too bland.
