Suggestions for goodwill find

So I grabbed a mini itx desktop from Goodwill with the following specs

Via epia-m Motherboard
via nehemiah 1ghz cpu
1gb ddr
80gb HDD
unknown speed dvd burnerit boots and posts now I need ideas for use

I think its probably something similar to this:
http://www.mini-itx.com/reviews/nehemiah/

They came out in '03. Uses actual DDR-1 ram and appears to have a PCI slot. To be honest a single core Atom would run circles around it.

I guess you can use it as a Linux box but I don't think it will be able to pull HTPC duty.

Yep that's it exactly. The other option is I do have an athlon II 240 2gb of ddr3 and a larger 320gb drive all I need is an ITX board. The question is does a 150watt ITX psu cover the power draw.

In theory 150w should be more than enough if you use onboard video. However, without knowing what brand/model it is and the fact that its pushing 10 years old, I doubt its putting out anywhere near rated power atm.

150w should be more than enough, a 240 and hdd should only pull around 60w give or take 5.

It would be a good option if I didn't have to buy ddr2.

The Athlon II doesn't support DDR, so you're going to have to buy DDR2 or DDR3 anyway. The DDR3 mini-ITX boards that support the Athlon II are too expensive. For the $100 they cost, you could buy a Celeron G530 and an H61 ITX board and get better performance.
