Suggestions for front loading removable hotswap IDE tray/drive

I'm looking for a tray/bay to install in one of my 5.25 front bays to take 3.5 inch IDE hard drives for backup/copying/just plain removable storage.

Preferably, the device would be smart enough to allow hotswapping.

I have several firewire and USB external drives and enclosures, but I think my speed would be faster and the tranfer between drives quicker with an IDE device connected directly to my motherboard.

Forget PATA - it's not hot-swappable. You might want to check out a Vantec Ez-Swap, of the SATA variety.


Check out the MRK-200ST-BK or the MRK-300ST-BK

Edit: I realize my info about the SATA is useless - I didn't read the title. If hot-swapping isnt critical, just check out some of the other EZ-Swaps.
