I have a file server with four SCSI drives. Three are 4.3 gig and one is 9 gig. I have my C drive, boot partition on the first 2 gigs of one 4.3. The rest of this drive is a separate partition. My other three drives have a stipe set using 4.3 gig of each drive. This leaves another 4.5 gig partition on my fourth drive.

I would like suggestion on the best way to use this storage. I have one main program used in our business that has a live data files, being used 24/7. The size of these files are about 600 MB. This is extremely important information and I keep it on the strip set.

Where should I keep my other data, such as user directories, office forms and policies, reports, mainly word processing stuff. Should these also be on my stipe set or on one of the other partitions on a single drive.

Thanks for the advise.
