Suggestions for co-op games?

I'm looking for suggestions on any good games that offer co-op play. Doesn't really matter the genre, but rpg and rts would be preferred. Oh, and they'll probably need to be at least a couple of years old because I want them to play well on an old 9800pro.

So, which games should I be looking at?

I didn't know RTS or RPG could be co-op?😛 If great co-op is what your looking for look no further than console shooters.

NWN definitely has coop.

Edit: The only PC FPS off the top of my head that has coop is Duke Nukem 3d...

Okay, I wasn't thinking through the RTS thing. 😛

But why couldn't RPG be co-op?

Neverwinter Nights looks good, I'll have to check that out further. As for Titan Quest, looks good as well, but I think the running on an old 9800pro well will rule it out.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! 🙂

Serious Sam
Baldur's Gate
Half Life 1 and 2 both have Coop
Quake1 has Coop
Civ4
Empire Earth
Age of Empires 2
Starcraft and all the RPG mods

Thanks for the suggestions. Does Baldur's Gate 2 have co-op?

It's been a long time, but I think BG1 and BG2 had the same CO-OP multiplayer options.
Cool. I actually have this game collecting dust somewhere at home. I'll have to dig it up and find out. 🙂

Dungeon Siege 2
Soldiers Heroes of WW2 (Make sure you add the patch before you play.)
Rome Total War (You can set up battles with 2 people vs. 2 computers, actually it can do more that just 2 per side but it might be pushing your system, no campaign mode coop though.)
Dawn of War (I think that's another one that can be set up 2 humans vs. 2 computers)

Here's some more first person shooters:
No One Lives Forever 2
Unreal 2004
Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam
Hidden and Dangerous 2 Sabre Squadron
Conflict Global Storm
Joint Operations Typhoon Rising
Operation Flashpoint

WoW will play fine on a 9800 with a gig of system RAM and pretty much any P4/Athlon XP or better CPU, I occasionally play on a 3 year old laptop featuring a 1.6 ghz Pentium M CPU, 1 gig of RAm and a Radeon 9000 IGP chipset without issues... if MMO's are your thing.
