Suggestions for classical piano albums (or pieces)...

Any easy listening, soothing, and relaxing piano instrumental pieces or albums? It doesn't have to be classical. I was listening to Moonlight Sonata in C-sharp minor, and it was pretty relaxing for a long day.

players not disks:
Murray Perahia
Jonathan Biss
Leon Fleisher
Alfred Brendel

Did I mention Natasha Paremski?

i have a cd with Rachmaninovs Paino Concerto No 2 and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Lang Lang, love it.

sometimes i could listen to to #23 "Andante Cantabile" all day

I highly recommend George Winston (not classical)
Haven't heard his more recent stuff, but everything I have heard is fantastic and his style is good for chilling. Start with the seasonally named albums.

I enjoy Beethoven's Sonata Pathetique.
Hmmm... I was thinking that you meant songs to play, not just to listen to. There's too many to list.

He has pretty nice albums especially those seasonal ones. Highly recommended. Anyone else has others?

shes pretty/hot/beautiful/amazing.

Satie (Gymnopedie), Debussy, Chopin (nocturnes)

My favorite pianist is Danielle Dechenne. Her CD "The Best of Chopin" is my favorite classical CD, though it's not all relaxing. And there are a number of CDs with that name that aren't her playing.

My favorite opera singers are Ludovic Spiess and Placido Domingo. I cannot understand Pavarotti's massive appeal. I definitely wouldn't call his singing mellow.

Hiroshima is a pretty mellow Japanese-influenced jazz fusion pop group thingy.

Ultima: Exodus and Dragon Warrior for NES had some awesome music. So did Final Fantasy 4 and Aerobiz for the SNES. Grab some MIDIs if nothing else. Mix em up. The king's theme from Ultima: Exodus is one of my favorite pieces of any kind of music.

Happy Rhodes' album Rhodesongs or Jewel's Pieces of You come to mind if you like girl-with-a-guitar.

The Moody Blues are one of my favorite bands. My favorite albums are Days of Future Passed (includes a lot of orchestra) and In Search Of The Lost Chord.

Liszt, Chopin, Beethoven...

^^ that's all you need right there!

It's hard to find music that captivates my mind's emotion. When listening to Liszt, Chopin, or Beethoven, I feel like my thoughts are one with the music. It's a great feeling for me, one that I wish everyone could enjoy. Hopefully it does the same for you 🙂
