Suggestions for camcorders?

So my sister's getting married in a month, and I'd like to take advantage of the July 4th + 10% off coupons deals that have been going around to get her and her fiancee a nice camcorder.

I'd normally look this stuff up myself, but I'm at work, so I cannot just dive into this stuff. What format do you suggest...MiniDV, MiniDVD...anything else? Also, what brand name do you suggest. Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.
 
Well that is a tough price range for great quality, but here is one bang for the buck MiniDV camera that should do the trick just fine. I would for sure go for the JVC, great ratings on this camera for the price, ranks up there with much higher priced cams on the market.
