hi, i was looking for a new heatsink for my p4 1.8 ghz cpu. the retail fan just isnt cutting it anymore. when i play wc3, that thing goes up to 75 o C and freezes up my comp. i was looking for a good heatsink that isnt too loud. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

If you want a quiet and efficient cooler I suggest you getting a Zalman CNPS7000-Cu. The cooler houses a 92mm fan and comes with fanmate speed controller so it's extremely quiet. It's rather large but still fits into my Small Form Factor FIC case. I OC my P4-2.4 at 2.53GHz and run the fan in silent mode and the temperature is still around 35C to 45C at all times in such a small chasis. My conclusion is that it is very quiet and effective, and fits both AMD and P4, the only drawback is the $40 price tag.
