Suggestions for a new PC game to play?

Kinda bored nowadays. Are there any new games worth taking a look at? Something with an easy learning curve and doesn't have to be a new release as long as it doesn't run in DOS

Is that still the same gameplay as the old one?

Very similar with much better graphics. Its not easy to win either. I found it quite engrossing.
