Im building a new computer soon and I want to get the best value for my money. Neways, this is what I have in mind:

AMD Athlon 64 3400+ -409$
Asus K8V Deluxe -156$
1024mb OCZ Dual Channel PC-3500EL -459$
Antec Lanboy -109$
Enermax True 450W -93$
Maxtor 80Gb 8mb -92$
= 1318$ Canadian

I already have a video Card and CDROM so those are the only things I need to buy. I am probably going to purchase those parts @ Canada Computers. I am still skeptical about the Mobo, I feel pretty good about everything else tho. Suggestions wanted and needed. Thanks a lot.

hrm, only thing i would think about is getting 2 gigs of generic samsung ram over at newegg, but then again, canadian prices confuse me

if you have an nvidia card maybe get a nforce mobo?

if you want best value for the money, go for the 3200+. that oughta save you some cash and the performance will not be noticable.

I would get an nForce 3 250 GB mobo.

I have the K8V SE Deluxe...& I don't recommend it (or the K8V) to anyone unless you are doing zero overclocking.

And since you have PC3500 RAM there, i am assuming you are wanting to OC.
If that's not the case, then just get PC3200 RAM.
