I currently have a Antec SX830 and the case is awesome...but freakin HUGE! I've had it for 2 years now, and was going to give my computer to my sister who is now going off to college. . . but i know the hassles of having such a big case at school. Can anyone suggest a case that can hold:

2x CD-ROMS
2x Hardrives

I believe those are the only requirements I'm really looking for that are MUSTS. I would preferrably like to get the case for under 50 shipped and coming with a power supply with 300W+.

Thanks for your suggestions and links.

To my mind, this is one of the better small cases out there: Enlight Model 76020B1
Also the AOpen LX45W and the LiteOn ST950 - all are at newegg. The LiteOn currently has free shipping but it also has the weakest PSU of the three.
. The AOpen is the only one of these three that can take a full ATX mobo, the others take mATX or smaller,
. Combine any of these with the MSI KM2M Combo L, KT2 Combo L, or really any Athlon/Duron mobo with the P4 conntector for CPU power and it will work great even though two of them have only 250W PSUs (but note the output of the AOpen PSU - nearly matches most other 300W units bacause it is a Fortron PSU with AOpen label - note model no. FSP-250...

Hoping for some :sun:!

If you want to use a full size atx board, the Antec slk1600 and slk2600 are about as small as it gets, w/o going to something with a miserable side-saddle psu. More like $60, well worth it.

For a Matx mobo, Newegg has some V-series Inwins w/ 250w psu's at the $40 pricepoint. The previously mentioned LiteOn looks like a good box, to me. Dunno about the psu, but it's not notorious junk.

I would pick up the Antec SLK2600 from Amazon. Unfortunately they keep raising the price there, but it is still only $60 shipped. It has a nice 300W PSU, will fit an ATX board and is a solid case. Link

Since it's for your sis', then the AOpen would be the one - just because it's prettier than the Antec. Its PSU should be able to handle that mobo w/ a reasonable CPU.
