don't know what type you want...how many pci slots...how big...if you want an isa or not...what chipset you want...

Well Abit KT7 & Asus A7V r the best...

let's say u get a cheap Mobo... U'll only get default speeds for your cpu (can't overclock @ all), but you'll save around $40-50 for the Mobo... (not 2 mention lock-ups & stuff like this)

if u get a Abit or Asus, chances are that you'll get your CPU from, let's say 700 to 900-950, suould u have a good cooler... Add overall stability &...

NEVER GO CHEAP WHEN IT COMES TO MAINBOARDS
 
MSI makes cheaper (not cheap, cheaper) boards that are very high quality. If you do not plan on OCing, so with the MSI K7T Pro. If you are planning on OCing, get the MSI K7T Pro2.

You may also consider the Epox board. Don't know too much about it, but I haven't heard any complaints yet.
