i am planning to buy the phenom II x2 555 BE processor.
Could you please help me choose a cheap mobo?
i want it to be really cheap and support overclocking.
suggest mobo's from asus , gigabyte and msi.
i am going to use it for gaming only.
and also how good is asus M4A78LT-M LE ?

Looks like a good board. Same hardware as my m4a78t-e essentially, just fewer slots. Onboard graphics has pretty good Linux support. I'd say you're good to go. If you want the latest/greatest overclocking stuff, though, I think the sun has really set on the whole AMD platform.

To get a whole mobo for essentially the price of a video card, I'd say you're doing pretty good.
 
Just to add, technically it doesn't support the >100W CPU's, so don't expect it to unlock and run your CPU in a configuration that involves >100W dissipation. In other words, its a great board for a non-gaming desktop, a HTPC, etc., but its not gonna be an overclocking board, even if it does have the unlocking features on it.
