Currently I work at a place called EDI.
Yesterday the boss asked me for website ideas and while I have plenty of ideas, I do not know how to implent them other then hours of code writing, something I do not know too much about or really am looking forward to.
The current website: http://www.edinw.com
Right now it has basic contact info, sections and a members only section.
What the boss wants is a more modern look, keeping the logos the same of course. Also to have the website work a lot easier.
Ideas thrown around:
A feedback / item request forum for the members only.. no guest access.
Better navigation
Electronic input of orders by the sales reps to the orderdesk via a form on the website. Which then emails that to the orderdesk with the data in the correct fields on the table. This must only be available to the sales people.
Other ideas are being thrown around as well.
Is there a software tool that can be used for the backed of something like this? Preferably free or low cost?
