Suggestions for a decent 12-13" laptop?

I've been hoping to pick up a decently priced 12-13" laptop that I could pull off some moderate retro gaming on, along with the standard office suite (so an OK keyboard/trackpad as well).

I was really hoping for one of AMD's A-series processors, but looking on newegg there really aren't many options and their prices are a little higher than the ~$500 I was looking for. I'd be playing older stuff like KOTOR or TOR and maybe some CIV/SimCity stuff. That would really be about it.

My current laptop is a really quite nice 13" Averatec with an AMD Turion processor. It does almost everything I'd like it to, but its crapolla ATI X1270 integrated videocard is only good for displaying still images on the screen. Also, its keyboard is starting to go after years of abuse and its somewhat tricky tracking a replacement down. Best part is I got it for $500 bucks 4 years ago at Microcenter, so I am sure I can get something substantially better in the cpu/video department for roughly the same price today. Of course I could be horribly wrong.

13" really is a hard limit, after that I feel laptops lose a lot of their portability and durability (screen/body flex). Even 14" inch laptops look huge after using a 13" for so many years.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance for what? Are you drunk?

-For any potential leads or advice more helpful members of the community might give me. I just wanted to let them know that I appreciate their help even if I might not be able to respond immediately to their posts.

I'm sorry you found the concept so confusing.

Slightly over $500. It is an ultra-low voltage version of the A6. You might or might not be satisfied with it. Read the reviews of it at the Amazon, Newegg, and PCmag sites, and then decide if it is worth the risk to fork over a half grand for it.
