One Brand, Diamondtron

The Mitsubishi Diamondtron. Might be a tad too expensive. Otherwise I would recommend anything that uses Trinitron Technology.

i agree. However, if his budget wasn't $400 ~ $650... i'd recommend the f520, very awesome. Nothing will ever touch the 0.22 dot pitch.
