i need some help in choosing a display for my new system. i definitely want a 19" flat crt so that i can have a good gaming and movie experience. in addition, i do some graphics work and web site design every so often. i'm looking to spend around $300 for the monitor. i've been looking at the sony cpd-e440 for some time and think it's pretty decent. i've also looked at the samsung 955df and heard great things about it. i like the sony a lot but i don't know if it's worth spending an extra $100 for what i plan on using it for. in the long run, i want a monitor that will last and make me happy. i don't plan on buying another monitor for a long time after this one. any suggestions of what i should get or any other monitors i should consider?

I just bought a Viewsonic P95F+B and I love it. So clear, great color balance and tons of ways to tweak it.

if you don't mind aperture grill lines (trinitron) Dell P991 (Sony G400), otherwise the newest Samsung 957mb is better than the 900NF I hear....

I went with an older Hitachi SuperScan Elite 751.
