Suggestions for 19" monitor under $400!

I have been looking for a 19" monitor for under $400 and am having a hard time. Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated.

You could probably get the KDS-AV195TF which is better for $400.

Are you looking for a shadow mask or trinitron?

I'm not going to be to picky but probably shadow mask. I'm not going to be doing any gaming. Actually which is better for picture imaging? What about the viewsonic GS 790 or E790?

The KDS-AV also gets my vote. Look at the Mag series. Samsung was having some trouble with their tubes acting up but rumor had it the problem was fixed, and they would also be in your price range.

ps I went through the same search for the last 4-6 months and settled on the KDS AV, over more expensive monitors (up to $500).

edit = the GS790 and E790 would be okay for moderate usage, but if you're into gaming or gonna be spending much time at all in front of the monitor, I don't think you'll be happy with either of these.

Look at some. Whatever your eye likes, grab. Monitors today are phenominal. Go to a store, find the one you like, and order it from someplace that has a cheap price out of state and free shipping.

Have you considered the LG Studioworks 995E?
Its 19inch, 18inch viewable. .26mm 1600x1200 @ 80hz I believe.
I think pricewatch.com has the low price at 275 or so.
Im considering getting that one myself.

Office Depot has a 19&quot; KDS monitor that is priced at $299. This coming Sunday, they will have a $70 rebate on it. They might even have it on sale again. Last week it was on sale for $249 with an extra $50 rebate.

I picked up a ViewSonic A90 19&quot; at CompUSA for $379 with a $30 rebate.
Using a VooDoo 3000 AGP Card, it is a sweet monitor for under $400.
