I added a live support option, which screwed up the site cuz it kinda made it offcentered...but other than that, any other suggestions? the offcenter problem is going to be fixed. The site still is under construction, but I'm looking for more feedback about it.

For one, the menu category thing floating up is annoying. Not only functionally, but visually, too. The thing takes WAAAYYY to long to expand and give me other options, but aside from that, I want to know my options before I click on it.

I'm looking at your site and I'm seriously not wanting to play with it to figure out exactly what it is I don't like because it's that annoying.

There is too much text. I can see right off that the place is called TPA technologies (through an out-dated and barely legible logo) and that you apparently give localized service with global solutions, but I have no clue what the hell that is supposed to mean. The opening page requires too much reading to grab my attention immediately. Part of the reason I hate the menu so much is if I expand a menu, then move my mouse cursor so I can read my options, the damn thing closes on me. You don't have enough menu options to require making sub-menus.

A better solution would be to place your menu to the left hand side, make it entirely text based, and don't use any DHTML/javascipting and such to make it flashy. If I'm a first time visitor, I want to know exactly what my options are right away. If I'm a return visitor, I want to be able to get exactly where I want to go right away. That option is not offered with your current menu.

Also, I want to be able to click on the pictures in the descriptions you give. Make them link to your computers/servers/etc pages. Even with a high resolution, I have to scroll down to see them, and with your menu up top, I have to scroll back up to select one of the products.

There are some other issues, some I can't really place my finger on, that bother me, but overall I get the feeling that this is your first design for professional use.

The colors look too plain. Nothing really grabs my attention, nothing really makes me want to hang around. Grab some brighter more vibrant colors to capture attention..

(just FYI, I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I've had a lot of design courses so some things just really get to me. )

Thanks for the advice...I'm not actually designing the site, a friend of mine is, who's the webmaster of it...I just wanted to see what people thought about the site, but i'm going to pass on the advice to him. Thanks for taking the time to write everything up.
