If you really needs an loan that you think that you former most memorable girlfriend can assists, do you tries to contact & requests for loans and disregards all your egos, etc... if is the only solutions, thenhow to make that approach w/o causing much embrassments? Thanks.

Assuming you were right when you said it's "the only solution"...

Don't come right out and ask for a yes-or-no answer. Suggest the idea and let her think about it. Explain why you need the loan, how you will pay it back, and then just say "Would you think about it for a day or so and I'll call you back in two days."

If her answer is no, don't try to change her mind, just let it go.

But I will say I think it's a bad idea, but only you know how she might react.
