Suggestion? What is the pros of having a FAQ?

I am doing a debate in school and want get some suggestion on my topic what is the pros of having a FAQ on a website?

So that people can post

"READ THE FAQ!!!!" every time someone asks something, first off.

Second, it's a great place to store classified information since FAQs on websites are never, ever read.
